Payment Options:
For your convenience, we offer two payment options:

   1. Payment in full at the time of registration and take $10.00 off!
   2. $100 due with registration, balance due by first class.

Registration Deadlines:
Although you may join our classes at any time, please register early since class sizes are limited and many fill quickly. Registering at least 3 weeks before the semester begins also ensures that we have your child's materials for you at your first class.

Late Fees/Delinquent Payments:
There is a $10 fee for late payments, $25 fee for returned checks.

Discounts:

Sibling discounts:
If you register 2 or more children in the same class (at the same time) save $30.00

Early Bird discounts:
If you register a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester, save $10.00 off the registration fee

Choosing a Class:
The age recommendations outlined for Kindermusik classes have been carefully constructed to best group children in an age appropriate and developmentally appropriate way. Therefore, it is important that your child be at least the minimum age by the start of the semester for the class in which you are enrolling. If you have concerns about your child's success in a particular age range, we are happy to discuss your child's needs and work with you to place him in the class best suited for him.

Kindermusik Village and Our Time is designed as one (1) parent per student experience. For parent with two or more children in same program, please make arrangements for another caregiver to attend all classes.

Non-enrolled Siblings:
Due to limited class sizes and the delicacy of the younger class settings, Village and Our Time classes can only accommodate non-enrolled siblings when the sibling is young enough to stay contended in a car carrier or stroller. However, emergencies are considered, so please call if we can help.

Enrollment Confirmation:
A registration form and payment must be received before enrollment can be confirmed. You will receive a phone call, E-mail or fax notice within two weeks to confirm your registration

Refunds:
Tuition refunds or credit vouchers may be given if there are extenuating circumstances requiring withdrawl from class. All refund requests will be considered on an individual basis. The cost of materials and a $20 processing fee are non-refundable.

Free Visits and Demo Classes:
At certain times throughout each session, we are happy to schedule a free visit in one of our classes. Please call us for availability. We are also pleased to schedule FREE demo classes for preschools and playgroups.

When to Arrive:
Plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes early for class. Arriving a little before class provides time for your child to settle in to the musical environment as they prepare to enjoy exploring instruments, reading boos, or listening to music.

What to Bring:
We do request that toys, juice cups, pacifiers be kept out of sight and that snacks be finished prior to class. Be sure to dress comfortably.

Make Up Classes:
Class will be made up in the event of teacher illness or inclement weather. I will notify you of the cancellation and the scheduled make-up day.

In case of inclement weather, we will follow the local School District decision on closings unless we call you otherwise. If there is a snow delay, we will still have class at the regular time.

We are happy to allow students who miss a class to make up that class. Simply call in advance to schedule make-ups.

Participation/Expectations for the Class:
During class, the most important thing you can do for your child is to be an active and patient role model. It is not uncommon for a child to attend several classes before feeling comfortable in class. Do not be discouraged - what a child is absorbing in class is often evidenced in the comfort of the home environment rather than in a certain level of participation in class. The understanding and consistency of the parent or caregiver in class and at home is key to facilitating musical learning and growth.

You and your child will enormously benefit from the Kindermusik experience, especially if you make active use of your At Home materials. Reinforcement and enjoyment of the Kindermusik materials at home during the week make all the difference in a child's comfort and security in the classroom.

We love parents to visit before class during Gathering Time or after class, but not during class time, please. When you are an active, focused, enthusiastic participant in the class activities, your child will model your actions and focus more fully too.

Many parents tell us that they see a completely different child at home as they share Kindermusik activities there. It is ok if your child is hesitant in the group environment. If your child cannot focus on the present activity - do not worry, but do actively attempt to help them refocus or quietly engage them in participating in their own way.
